I have been practicing in Northern Michigan since 1983, and I have represented many clients in criminal and civil cases in Michigan state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. I have represented clients in the tribal courts of the Bay Mills Tribe and the Sault Tribes, as I am admitted to practice in those courts. I have pursued appeals in the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

My experience as an assistant prosecutor for the Chippewa County Prosecutor's Office and later as a private practitioner in civil and criminal matters have given me the experience and ability to effectively and accurately assess a situation and develop a plan to best advice and represent my clients in a whole range of cases.
